Exclusive Interview with PDAO about RA 9442

Education plays an important role not only for students but also for the quality of functioning citizens at large. Lack of knowledge can subject an individual suffer negative stigmas and discriminations which may go against his allotted rights as a citizen. On the other hand, an individual can exercise his liberty to say No or utilize his freedom to choose in order to improve one’s Self when rights have been integrated as for compliance. Bridging Impairments aims to uplift the identity of PWDs through Education so we conducted an Exclusive Interview with the Head of Persons with Disability Affairs Office in Antipolo City, Mr. Mark Macatangay.


It is fairly understandable to give grace for someone who may commit discriminating speech and actions if he did it unintentionally. In fact, it can be perceived as a test of character for the latter’s part. But if a group of people or an Organization became fully aware that their actions or speech are already discriminating and unconstitutional, a person must apply for legal sanctions.
